the end of her first year of preschool

i had such an inner struggling when deciding whether or not to place g in preschool or not.
i had always envisioned my kids staying home with me until they were four and do just one year of preschool. i feel like we as a society push our children to grow up to fast and i want my littles to stay little for as long as they can. i bought books on teaching them montessori teachings at home with me.
i was excited too teach her and also i just love having my days with my kids uninterrupted.
there is not really someone in our lives to fulfill a baby sitter role, so date nights are very few and very far between. but we have become a very close knit family.
the decision to put her in preschool came because of the social aspect.
she longed to spend more time with other littles. and i totally get that.
we tried a dance class first, but it did not go as planned.
so we ended up at preschool.
and you know what?!
it was great.
she loved being a part of a class and would literally run into school as fast as she could every day.
g had the very best first preschool teacher you could ask for.
her name is ms. meagan and g loved being in her class.
she is very soft spoken and had a genuine love and excitement to be her teacher.
meanwhile, i do montessori activities with the littles at home.
her is a look at g climbing up a rock wall at the off to summer school party.
she really got the hang of it and loves rock climbing.
daddy was very proud of her for picking it up so easily and has already planned future rock climbing trips with her in mind for the future.
here she is at the top, so proud of herself for making it to the top by herself.

and here we are enjoying Summer.
hope all is well and this Summer rocks like no other for everyone out there who happens to read this.
