a summer bbq

 so over the weekend me and the litttles attended a bbq at my aunt's house for my cousin holli.

it was so nice to be out and about and poundcake especially enjoyed the little pool, the goats, the seven layer bean dip (yum!) and all of the extra attention.

it was a nice day, but what made it even nicer was the new patio that my aunt and uncle recently built.

i love me some shade. i am not a fan of the 90 degree weather thank you.

it was so nice to get out of my house and spend time with family.

you came into this world a month ago today and forever changed my life.
that instant all consuming love i felt for you the second i saw your little body has just grown every day.
i love how sweet and gentle you are.
what an amazing little man i have.
i know you will do amazing things and i pray every day that you will be healthy and lead a life full of happiness.
you are my son. i am your mom.
it's that simple.
life is so simple if you think about it.
simplicity.

he weighed 9 lbs. 3 oz. 

and was 20 inches long.

we are crazy about this gentle little guy.
