Baby Girl Nursery Part Tres

So my little Pound Cakes room is my favorite room in the house. It's just so happy in there. Well I added this glitter crown that I put inside an antique frame I found years ago at D.I. and above that is a wooden plaque I was given as a gift when I got married that says, "All because two people fell in love." (Incase you can't see that in the picture I took.) Anywho I have so many projects I'm working on for her and wanted to share one thats done. Peace out peeps!!!

Pound Cake's First Walk

Oh I am in love with this baby! Too cute! And good news for me and daddy... she loves to go on walks and be outside! Camping here we come!!! Well in a couple of years most likely. Camping with a newborn not so fun I imagine. So sweet a baby.
Cutest shoes!!!
So as much as I love her happy face and darling laugh, I think her sad mug is pretty adorable too.
I just love her!

I Want You Back

Izzabelle "Izzy" Pound 2-7-2006 to 2-9-2011
This is my sweetest girl that I will forever miss. She was the happiest dog I have ever known. She was so funny, because she was so quirky. She had the cutest lips that would curl up in a smile or pout out when she was annoyed. She would attack the door handle whenever someone left that she wanted to stay just a little longer. She destroyed photo albums, my jewelry, our shoes and ate many a things that she should not have and I will miss that about her. One time when we were visiting the Oregon Coast we bought a pound of chocolate fudge for Bryan's grandmother. Well guess who got into and ate the whole pound of fudge... my Izzy. She had a stomach of steel. She liked to eat jalapeno peppers, rocks, dead fish and sour gummy worms just to name a few. She went EVERYWHERE with us. Even if it was just a car ride to the store. When she was a puppy she fell out of our moving car and I was so scared when I rushed her to the vet, but all she had was road rash thank heavens. Her vet could not believe how sweet she was during her examination. Izzy was never short on the kisses.

This was our first trip we ever took with Izzy. We took her with us to hike the narrows by St. George. Luckily we took many videos of this trip. I haven't been able to bring myself to watch them yet, but I am so glad that we have them to relive this memory of her with us.

If I would have known her life was going to end that horrid Wednesday morning, I would have made sure to spoil her rotten the night before. With chocolate, food and my arms wrapped tightly around her all night.

Although Izzy's life was ended very abruptly and after five very short years; I hope that it was a happy life full of love and adventure. She is my first baby and I can't help but shed many tears over this perfect sweet soul. Izzy we can't wait to be with you again. Be with me always my little girl.

Kidney Stones Part Duex

So About three weeks ago I mentioned I had developed a nasty 10mm kidney stone. Jump to a week ago last Friday the 28th of January to be exact, when I went to the hospital in excruciating pain that I had developed on Friday. (That was exactly one month from my original kidney stone.) I had another cat scan done were they discovered another 8mm kidney stone on the same side. Now kidney stones can't form in four weeks. I asked my urologist if I was a medical marvel and he said no but that I was defiantly a medical anomaly. Well I just want to be boring when it comes to my health is what I've decided. Just good old healthy bones and body and this girl is happy as can be! Anywho, I was very lucky because he preformed another surgery on me that afternoon. No waiting! Yippy Skippy! While he was pulling out the stone it got stuck and he discovered a pocket in my ureter that has been collecting calcium. Mystery solved. Well he believes he got everything out and I am now wearing a stint to try to heal the pocket shut. Gross stuff I know. But the pain was sooooooooooooooooo bad I think I deserve to blog about it! So here's to hoping for no more kidney stones in 2011. And if you kidney stones just want to be done with me that would be wonderful.
