Izzabelle "Izzy" Pound 2-7-2006 to 2-9-2011

This is my sweetest girl that I will forever miss. She was the happiest dog I have ever known. She was so funny, because she was so quirky. She had the cutest lips that would curl up in a smile or pout out when she was annoyed. She would attack the door handle whenever someone left that she wanted to stay just a little longer. She destroyed photo albums, my jewelry, our shoes and ate many a things that she should not have and I will miss that about her. One time when we were visiting the Oregon Coast we bought a pound of chocolate fudge for Bryan's grandmother. Well guess who got into and ate the whole pound of fudge... my Izzy. She had a stomach of
steel. She liked to eat
jalapeno peppers, rocks, dead fish and sour gummy worms just to name a few. She went EVERYWHERE with us. Even if it was just a car ride to the store. When she was a puppy she fell out of our moving car and I was so scared when I rushed her to the vet, but all she had was road rash thank heavens. Her vet could not believe how sweet she was during her examination. Izzy was never short on the kisses.

This was our first trip we ever took with Izzy. We took her with us to hike the narrows by St. George. Luckily we took many videos of this trip. I haven't been able to bring myself to watch them yet, but I am so glad that we have them to relive this memory of her with us.

If I would have known her life was going to end that horrid Wednesday morning, I would have made sure to spoil her rotten the night before. With chocolate, food and my arms wrapped tightly around her all night.

Although Izzy's life was ended very abruptly and after five very short years; I hope that it was a happy life full of love and adventure. She is my first baby and I can't help but shed many tears over this perfect sweet soul. Izzy we can't wait to be with you again. Be with me always my little girl.
