she asked if i could take her picture right then, and he tried to grab the camera as i snapped a picture of him.

uncle lance asked dolly if she wanted to go see ethel the horse.

dolly nodded her head yes and held up her hands for lance to carry her over to meet beautiful ethel.

the pictures capture all the tender moments that transpired next.

love all of the moments that husband was able to capture and thankful for an uncle like lance who is helping dolly foster a gentle love for horses.

couldn't believe that this little guy started waving at us!

 we went for many a bike rides.

 g got very skilled at riding her scooter.

 the kids favorite book this month was how does a dinosaur eat their food?

 my sweetest puppy jasper passed away.

i still miss him constantly.

 unfortunately i miscarried our third baby.

i spent the following week or so just savoring the sweet face above and laughing with g.

 these two did a very good job at being their adorable selves and making me grateful to have the two of them.

 i found this awesome retro high chair and had to have it. 

we went to the farmer's market at gardner's village and g got a balloon flower and e got a packers football player beanie baby man thing. it is super cute and he loves it.

g had her first and last dance class.

she told me after being frustrated by the teacher trying to teach her dance moves and not letting her just be herself and spin around with a scarf, "i want to dance how i dance."

i hear ya sister. i will dance how i dance right along side ya.

 on our way to swiss days with the littles.

g is too cute in her swiss dress, crown and backpack on her way to swiss days.
She totally scored a new dress and headband and i scored a new scarf and some art prints.

good bye august... you were kind of a tough month.

G's First Day of Preschool

 Last wednesday this girl started preschool.

i still can't believe until it's 8:30am and we are trying to rush out the door to make it there for play time before class begins. it has been a change to our normal routine of things and mr. e has had a hard time working his nap around her school schedule. he likes his sleep peeps. 

 g was so excited to start school, but even more excited to get a backpack!

We went to two stores and in the end she decided on this Tinkerbell backpack, which surprised me.

The whole time she had said she wanted one with Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

We actually found one with Ariel and other princess' on it; but Tink won out!

  i love the back of her shirt. 

i think it's the cutest thing ever.

G i can't believe you are growing up so fast and starting preschool!

i am so proud of you and excited for you to have this experience.

go get 'em dolly!
