A letter for Mr. E

Sweet baby boy,

You have a bit of a cold right now. During the day you are betterish, but at night as you try to sleep you cough, you toss and turn, you want a blankie, then you don't want your blankie, you try so hard to breathe but all of that yucky snot won't let you no matter how much baby vapor rub I rub on your chest and back.

Little E I am so sorry you are not feeling your best. Sister stayed home from preschool today so that you could sleep and get better. It's almost ten and you are still asleep. When you wake I will make you eggs because it is your favorite breakfast and everyone deserves their favorite breakfast when they are sick.

You are such an amazing little man. Lately you like to bring me your shoes for me to put on your little feet. You love to wear your shoes, especially your cars shoes that light up when you walk that Great Grandma Holman got you for your Birthday. They finally fit your feet! You also like to bring me the book Happy Pumpkin Day Mouse! I read it to you and you laugh at the silly faces on the pumpkins. Your laugh it the best. I mean your laugh is the best!

You are such a huge blessing in my life little guy.

Your my best buddy in the whole wide world.

I love you sweetie and we will spend the wee small hours of the morning together trying to help you find a comfy spot to sleep.

xoxoxo,

Momma
