Oh my gorgeous baby girl. Oh how I love her. Just look at her. How could you not? The story of her blessing dress is this. I saved my blessing dress in the hopes of my daughter wearing it one day. So the plan was for my Poundcake to wear my blessing dress. However at two months I tried my blessing dress on her and she is so tall it was a shirt instead of a dress! But I did not give up there. I went on a search for something to buy or make to put under it to make it longer. That was a little stressful because nothing I found looked cohesive to me. So with Bryan urging me we decided to find her the perfect blessing dress.

We found this dress at Thanksgiving Point and we love it. I wanted something old fashioned looking or an actual vintage blessing dress. This handmade number had the look I wanted and I am still dying over how cute she is in it. She however was not crazy about how long it is. She likes to feel free and it was too constricting for her.

This was right after I got her ready, I wanted a picture of how long her beautiful blessing gown is.

Our little family in Poundcakes room right before the blessing.
Bryan gave the most amazing blessing. The spirit was strong and it was beautiful. I am so grateful to my husband for being a worthy priesthood holder and the spirit that it brought into our home.

After the blessing with Grandpa and Nanna Shanna.

With Grandma and Grandpa Pound. As you can see there was too much excitement so my girl decided to take a snooze.

My girl and I after the blessing. She did so good. And looked so pretty.

Four generations of women on my moms side.
It was a beautiful day. I was so happy to have all my family together on her special day. I am grateful for everyones love and support.
